The Company is a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange since 29 May 1985.
ASF Group Limited was officially launched on 12th April 2006 from the previously known CMC Power Systems Limited, to reflect the new direction, vision and transformation of the company led by its Chairman, Ms Min Yang. "ASF" stands for "Aus-Sino Focus".
Previously CMC Power Systems Limited began as Collins Motor Corporation Limited in 1980. The Company owned one of the worlds leading engine and related technologies. Till today ASF Group Ltd still retains a royalty interest from commercialization of the technology.
