ASF Chairman Min Yang attended a traditional ceremony hosted by the Nyikina Mangala indigenous peoples, celebrating the return of their land along the lower Fitzroy River on 29 May 2014.
Large swathes of pasture land (26,000 sqkm) have become available to tne Nyikina Mangala for cultivating since the native title claim was determined in favour of the traditional owners by the Federal Court of Australia. Yang highlighted the many potential opportunities for the Nyikina Mangala in linking local beef production with the large Chinese consumer market.
